baby's stuff

last week, aku off, so kemas2 sikit barang2 baby.. mana yg nak dibasuh etc..

and my last sewing project was 'DIY prefold'.. weekend before that, balik rumah mak, angkut sume baju2 baby yang ada few boxes kat rumah mak lagi including a pack of nappy yg tak pakai lagi. Beli time Fatini, tp tak pakai cos mak keluarkan napkin2 anak2 sedara ku yang sebelum ni (the youngest was 10yo kalau tak silap masa Fatini lahir) plus pakai dispos so tak berusik la napkin tu.. ada 12 in a pack tp tinggal 10, maybe 2 je pakai

balik rumah, aku bgtau maid aku yg aku nak jahit buat prefold napkin2 tu. Kalau napkin yang dh berbasuh tu, dia kecik (shrunk) plus tak empat segi sama, so susah sket mau jahit. Pastu before tu ada discuss2 kat SI.com, ada mommies yg dh DIY prefolds, then ada 1 site ni recommend put another fabric outside the nappy (to increase thickness as well as for better cosmetic look). So i ended up bought a meter of flannel fabric, konon nak buat cover luar. But upon somebody's advice (gigasizu kalau tak silap), dia tak advise boh kain flannel sbb nanti leh koyak bila pakai snappy.. so dia suggest velcro.. hmm.. good idea ehh.. senang lagi boh velcro kan??? (tp yg ni tak snap gambar lagi.. ada 2-3 helai yg maid ku jahit with velcro).

Yang lain tu ku suruh dia jahit 'tepi' dgn kain and also amende ek you all panggil tape yg buat piping baju kurung tuh?? haaa tu lah yg ku beli utk dia jahit kat keliling my prefolds.. sib baik dia paham. And jahit pakai zig zag, so comey sket...
camni lah..
actually printed flannel tu beli utk buat cover, tp tak jadi, so my maid jahit tepi je.. dapat la prefold 4x8x4
ni ada 5 helai yg dia jahit tepi -- kuning tu plain yellow flannel, biru muda sket tu pakai tape 'piping' (utk baju kurung tuh), and biru tua tu printed flannel cam gamba first.

ni model ku buat masa ni... prefold using snappi.. nampak kecik ekk.. tp sesuai la utk newborn kot..

cam biasa lah, kalau mengemas, anak dara ku yang sorang ni mesti menolong nye... HaziQ lak seperti biasa kat bawah nonton TV..

ni gamba 'sekotak' baju2 baby (most were HaziQ's) - tak basuh lagi, tp banyak jugak rupanya, i just bought few (hmmm ada la dalam 5-6 helai, eh banyak ke ) yang baru (still in the plastic bag).
Now i'm mad with rompers/babysuit... cute sgt.. geram!!! Tp mak tak suka, so ku just beli romper yg 6 months above, at least pas 2 bulan mak dah tak jaga plus baby pon dah tegap sikit hehhehe

ni lak sekotak yes sekotak mittens & booties.. mostly are white and blue and yellow.. yg pink version ada seplastik (simpan for next baby girl heheheh).. i just bought 2 sets to match with the new baju

gamba bibs ni Fatini yang sibuk ngambik.. err.. separuh kotak jugak plus face towels.. sume tak yah beli baru

buat masa ni ku longgok aje barang2 baby kat bilik satu lagi. Kotak besar tu actually isik baju2 kurung ku yg 'berehat' beberapa bulan buat masa ni, nnt maternity cloth masuk, dia lak naik balik dlm wardrobe - 'life goes on' huh...

ni napkin dh berpakai, ada yang umo lebih 12-14 thn i guess, tu yang ropa pon takde ropa napkin.. kalau buat kain buruk pon bleh (iskk.. merajuk lak napkin tu kalu dengar ku cakap gini), sebelah lagi selimuts (ada beberapa helai lagi inside the smaller box and new blanket ada 2 helai yg di DIY)

MY CDs STASH

yupp these are few of CDs yang tak berpakai buat masa ni.. so simpan dulu k...

3 new itty bitty in delicious colours..
3 2nd coolababys and 1 free lunatots CD (dpt free masa Pesta Buku kat PWTC last 2 weeks)
simpan dulu...
