Wrapping my 28mo baby

This wrap is made of linen so it is rock solid for toddler/heavy baby. Suitable for one-layer style cos it's thick/dense. So here we are in ruck tie in front style (rtif)...

Anyway.. Happy babywearing week... I'm very happy that i still can celebrate this year's IBW cos i still have a baby that wanna be worn/wrapped ;))

Faris: weaning (for real?)

Masuk hari ni dah 3 mlm x carik aku utk bf. 2 mlm lps aku tido jauh dari dia. Malam 1st, pagi subuh tu dia bangun and nampak aku kat hujung, dia jerit "maa-miii".. Cian pulak, aku pon gi sebelah n dia mintak 'cu' ('susu').
Tp semalam, dia bangun gelap, x nampak aku agaknye, dia tido balik. Merengek2 tp tido laa.. Malam tadi, aku tido sebelah dia tp buat2 tido dulu. So dia ngamuk ngan daddy mintak air soya. Malam x bgn lgsg. Pagi pulak, dia boleh bangun and pandang muka aku dlm mamai2 tu, tp pastu tido balik. So kira 3 mlm dah x nyusu...
Tadi tanya, "ayish tanak 'cucu' mummy lagi?". Dia geleng kepala & tunjuk botol susu dia... So, is he ready to wean, for real now??
I am ready... Dah nak masuk 2 tahun 4 bulan, alhamdulillah.. I'm a proud bf mother. I'm proud to have a fully-bf baby... Alhamdulillah i have i fulfilled my duty.. Lengkap rase tanggungjawab ini.. Thank you Allah.. For this rezeqi & nikmat...

guess am still in shock!
still cant get rid of what happened today from my mind...
Ya Allah ku doakan anak kecil itu takde pape ya Allah...

pagi tadi, aku & Umi pegi UKM Bangi nak pulangkan jubah & ambil skrol. Dian tak jadik ikut sbb tayar dia plak pancit.
Sampai lepas 2nd roundabout tu, betul2 depan ILKAP, tiba2 ada bende terpelanting betul2 depan kereta aku... MasyaAllah.. motor langgar bontot kereta Inspira. Lagi aku terkujat, a boy was lying on the road... Ya Allah...
Luckily i was driving on the most right side of the road. The stupid Inspira was on the most left and the poor boy & his dad were lying on the middle lane... luckily i wasnt speeding.. masyaAllah....

i stopped the car safely at the middle curb, and turun... aku pegi kat budak tu dulu.. ya Allah.. a small boy, mengerekot on the road, seluar basah, terkencing agaknye... dahi lebam, ada darah sikit kat mulut... dia besar sikit je dari Faris... masyaAllah... luckily i was able to control my emotion! aku panggil2 dia, tp dia macam drowsy & tutup mata.... aku & Umi & ada lagi sorang kakak, try angkat dia carefully sbb tak tau dia cedera kat mana (untuk pengetahuan: kalau ada mangsa accident, jangan alih atau angkat mangsa, sehingga u really sure yang mangsa takde patah... esp bahagian tulang belakang & tengkuk!! U may think u are helping the victim, but actually u are doing more harm!! please be careful, do not try to be a hero!) Kami angkat & ada medical students volunteer hantar ke Klinik Kesihatan Bangi (dalam less than 1km from the accident spot), dengan harapan ada ambulan and boleh bawak budak tu segera...
Dalam masa tu, i was praying hard the boy is safe... ya Allah... takut betul aku!

meanwhile, the father was lying on the road conscious & was shouting "anak aku, anak aku..."... he sustained fractured left lower leg. I guess it was multiple fractures (after ambulans sampai, the paramedik cut open the trousers, he actually had an open fracture - alhamdulillah no massive blood loss - silly me i didnt check that. I was too careful not to touch him too much... plus takde gunting nak potong seluar dia!!)

thanks to the passersby... who were very helpful.... but no thanks to the cars on the road that were slowing down kepohchi to know what was going on... please la people... proceed laa... tu yang selalu accident kecik, traffic jammed sampai 3-4km... grrr..

the Inspira, drove by a lady, apparently was slowing the car down (or stopped mengejut??? :donno:) cos she was looking for a friend's address or sumthing.... i did not bother to get the car's plate no, but thank God, ada jugak yang ingat and keep the number for the victim. The driver pegi balai polis to report...

Ambulans arrived >30minutes later after much drama... and the victim was brought to Hosp Serdang. Aku suruh ambuland pegi ambik anak dia kat KK so bleh bawak sekali tp ambulans tu tak pegi pon.

Wife brader tu datang, masyaAllah, she is heavily pregnant... semoga tabah la kak.. tp tgk muka cool, cuma ada sikit riak cemas. Aku suruh dia pegi KK teman anak dia.

And alhamdulillah anak dia ok, bila called the medical students & spoke to the MA kat KK, his GCS was 14/15.. at least he was conscious... and crying when they put in the IV line..

lepas tu, aku pon pegi KK tu sbb nak tgk sendiri budak tu... alhamdulillah ok, GCS full, tp dia macam in shock. Bila tanya mana sakit, boleh la tunjuk tangan dia yang berbalut sbb ada IV line tu, tapi tak bercakap sepatah pon.. and he wasn't crying!... he was a brave boy... alhamdulillah at least physically he looks ok... masa kat situ, another ambulans dah sampai, tp nak xray kaki kiri dia dulu cos suspect fracture jugak.

Harap2 they scan his head, just to rule out the head injury... i pray ya Allah, selamatkan anak kecil itu.... badan dia besar sikit je dari Faris. Ayah dia ckp umo dia 3+ nak masuk 4 tahun... nama dia Muhamad Harisah kalau betul la pendengaran aku bila tanye mak dia tadi..

Akhirnye, kami berjaya sampai PPS dalam pukul 12.30 and selamat pulangkan jubah. Tp skrol kena tunggu lps lunch. Lps lunch, kejap je dapat skrol tu sbb beratur betul2 bila kaunter bukak. Tu hikmah lah semua tu... yang lagi best, masa pulang jubah, jumpe balik 2 orang brader (pakcik kot ada dalam umo dekat 40an kot) yang sama2 tolong accident tadi... diorang dari MSN Seremban... rupa2 nya nak pulangkan jubah jugak... tp bila tanye amik degree apa, dia jawab "belajar main2.." lepas tu borak2 lupa nak tanya balik diorang grad apa...

tapi aku sampai sekarang masih teringat.... cepat lah nak balik rumah, peluk anak2 ni...

"Ya Allah, lindungi lah keluargaku dari malapetaka ya Allah... Kau selamatkan lah anak2 ku ya Allah..."
