Hari tu kuar dgn Lixa & Aiman.. Ku bawa Hafiy -- wrapped snuggly in my Sand Indio grad wrap, so did Aiman in Lixa's yummy sunset silk indio.. We just had lunch @Ikano and jalan2 kat ikea..

This time, we went out with Lita & Ayra & Aufa.. We went to Paradigm Mall.. Had lunch at Old Town Cafe.. Keluar masuk kedai..

But i ended up bought a 'lip tinter' brand Shizens.. Love it to the max!! It's rm118.. Mahal ekk.. But it also a cheek tinter (blusher)..

lixa & I tried out the lip tinter... had different shades on different ppl.. mine pinkish but lixa's was lightly maroonish..

Dating dgn Lita again, but this time in midvalley -- janji makan sweet chat.. Actually just nak pass SSC beetlebum to Lilly.. & hanta my ipad for repair. (but nothing wrong with the ipad actually phewwhh just need to reset ciss!!). Dah la jauh kena pegi Machines service centre kat northpoint.. dah la angkut Haziq & Faris sbb janji nak belikan diorang toys... penat diorang jalan.. ciannn..

pastu sib baik ada Lita, geng makan2 sbb Lilly was caught up in a meeting with her big bosses.. gi pusing carik ultraman for Lita's aariz, and Faris got his Ben 10 'Rath' the tiger & Haziq got his Power Rangers..

OTW balik, i got grassjelly roasted milktea Chatime for me me me...

19/9/12:

And today, keluar dgn Lita lagi hahahah best keluar dgn Lita, dia kaki makan and kaki jalan... OMG!! Luckily tak duduk dekat Lita ooii... Lita was with Ayra & i was all alone hehehe.. These 2 days, Hafiy was trained for bottlefeeding.. So far ok since we tried MAM teats.. Yg lain refused -- Adiri, Avent, Tommee tippee -- all failed!!

So we had lunch @ikea cafe for Meatballs nyummmm... Jalan2 ukur ikea.. And had coffee & mooncake tiramisu & caramel macchiato @starbucks yg sgt d'lish!!

Actually aku gi area situ sbb nak pick-up playmat yg aku beli dari Elly.. She sold me sooo cheap... Sukaaaa sgt!!! pick up kat the Curve, aku park kat ikano, so lepas amik kat Elly, pusing balik pegi letak dlm kereta sbb besar gak mende alah ni huhuhu...

Lita & I (Ayra tersorok dlm stroller kat tepi heheheh) kat Brands Outlet.. sempat camwhore tu depan cermin besar lol..

Sewing: baby booties

Antara projek menjahit baby #4's stuff b4 beranak hari tu...

1st try guna pattern utk size 3-6mo, guna minky untuk lining and cotton (DC) utk luar.. And tapak ku letak interfacing tebal.

Minky mmg susah sikit nak jahit, sbb minky mcm agak stretchy.. Lps tu interfacing tu pulak tebal, susah nak sambung & terbalikkan...
That explains the out-of-shape booties.. Tp aku suka sgt combo green minky & navy dino tu...

dah siap, macam terbalik kiri kanan pulak huhuhu...

akhirnye, model menggayakan booties nye.. kiri tu mmg outta shape lah... jadik ketat sikit, strap tu pon mcm pendek.. tp minky insole mmg syiok ahhh...

Then, tak puas hati punye pasal, aku buat another one, guna cotton (main outer fabric & lining), kali ni boh jugak interfacing tp just ikut tapak (not extended to the seam line)..
Cotton senang sikit jahit, tp masih mencabar sambung tapak to kasut..

Ni try another one, using both cotton, tp guna size 6-12mo
ni macam dah tere sikit heheh..

not bad ehh? hehehe.. tapi yang tu still besar utk kaki Hafiy, so raya ni pakai kasut mana agak nye?? hmmm...

haaaa ni lah kasut raya Hafiy hehehe... beli kat TinyTapir hari tu ada sale... ada lagi kot kalau nak beli.. murah tuh... dari RM37.00 jadik RM10.60..

soooo comey... agree?? mana la tak beli banyak??! ni pon tahan nafsu tau... sebab si kenit ni nak pegi mana pon banyak2 sgt kasut hahaha... so, red stripes and blue planes are Hafiy's, the blue with racecars tu hadiah utk someone's baby....

Dari preggy aku plan nak start babywearing (BW) dari awal... Dulu mula BW masa Faris umo 40+ days kot.. Tau pasal BW awal, tp gadget lambat ada heheh.. And now no turning back!! Terbabas dah lol!!

With Hafiy, aku start BW on day 2, masa nak balik dari hospital.
I was using custom jumpsac RS made of silk wrap SHE combo with raw silk -- bought from Alin..

Baby in craddle carry, mmg kekok! Tambah lak baby berbedung pulak.. Tp selalu cek lah supaya baby comfortable & bernafas ok.. patut nye NO chin-to-chest -- takut obstruct breathing, so selalu jugak la perhatikan baby dalam sling.. ni kejap je pon..

Then on day 4, nak pegi rumah nenek utk mummy berurut..
So guna ringsling Jumpsac linen Bumblebee. Ni pon beli 2nd hand, tp masih keras.. Aku beli 2nd hand dgn harapan dah lembut ;( (wendu dengan 1st ringsling ku yg super duper lembut yg dah kujual tu huhuhu)

With NB senang je nak legs-in sbb kai diorang mmg naturally 'froggied', angkat je terus bleh letak gitu dlm RS!

On day 5, gi berurut lagi, kali ni guna WCRS Symphuo with Jumpsac shoulder... Again T2T and legs in.

ni RS terbaru ku.. yeah call me 'collector' or watevah... i just LOVE ringslings... koleksi paling banyak kot.. sebab RS yang agak murah dari yang lain hehehhe..
RS ni made of Shijira cotton (fabric bought from Japan) - sewn with hybrid shoulder using gold ringslings (bought fr Japan too) - done by Liza Snuggbaby..

WRAPS

First time wrap guna stretchy bamboo wrap yg Shida (our MBW president) bagi pinjam... It's stretchy but supposed to be very easy for newborn. Senang kalau nak bf etc sbb stretchy material. Tp tak sesuai utk baby yg agak semangat aka berat ye..
Tp wrap ni agak panjang, and tak confident nak guna kat luar.. Maklum la baru belajar2 nak wrapping!

Last week keluar pegi jalan2, aku decided to wrap Hafiy in PSP.. Wrap mmg lagi selesa compared to ringsling (ohhh aku adalah RS-mama cakap wrap best??? Nooooo.... Bahaya nih).

Hafiy lenaaaaa sangat.. Lps 2 jam, kena gi baby room utk paksa dia bf sebelum dia ngamuk nak susu!

Masa keluar rumah, carry in FCC style, tp rasa shoulder tak kemas and baby mcm 'tersorok' sgt. Lepas bf, aku tukar FWCC style... Ahhh i prefer this carry...!!! Lepas tu, jalan2 kejap and dok depan supermarket sementara tunggu daddy abis shopping... Masa tu lah tiba2 dia bangun & teriak!! Adoii fanic mak!!! Cuba 'korek2' nak NIP, tp tak berjaya.. Dia makin kuat plak suara!! Last2 teringat ada surau kat basement... So gi surau lah utk bf.. Uhhhh mmg kena practise bf in wraps la gini!!!! Camana pulak la kalau x sempat nak carik baby room kan?? ;(

Philips airfryer

bored reading about baby's stuff??

let's talk about something else...

last 2 wks, out of the blue, DH mentioned about airfryer... he said, let's buy it -- so i did some survey between Philips Airfryer (which is available in Malaysia) vs Tefal Actifry (which is not yet in Malaysia market -- but a friend of mine bought it fr the UK earlier this year..)

Philips airfryer -- retail at RM1,199 --> if offer can get RM999 in Harvey Norman
Tefal Actifry -- there are few models, the black one cheapest is GBP119.99
I asked my friend in Aussie to look for Tefal actifry (she's coming back to Malaya soon and i have few stuff with her to be shipped in June) -- cheapest she can found is AUD289 -- but only reached me earliest end of June.

Tefal actifry -- available in the UK, kalau beli, kena consider shipping. A friend of mine bought it quite cheap around RM600 and shipped it together using courier service (buat group buy ramai2 and share shipping -- memang murah la -- prob is, u have to buy it and send it to the UK address, a person in the UK has to pack it in the courier box and wait for the courier company to fetch it yada yada.... it hassle but worth it if u have somebody to help you with it!!)

so we finally settled with this after considering few factors, among them:

1. nak dapat cepat -- if Tefal fr Aussie, price around RM950-1000 -- but we'll receive it in August. DH konon ckp beli sini dgn harge yang lebih kurang, bleh dapat cepat so i can use it to cook my non-/less-oily confinement food... sooo thoughtful ehh??
2. price-wise --> Philips ni can get cheaper if buy from someone in FB (BarangMurahUK), priced around RM750 siap boleh installment 4x tp paling awal dapat end of august *gulp* lama tu -- again faktor waktu
3. warranty -- some would offer international warranty, tp tak sure if beli fr Aussie or UK, warranty void ke tak -- we are considering after-sales services/warranty -- kalau beli sini, ada problem, bleh terus pegi ke kedai tu balik (well, we both are non-risk-takers)
4. why Philips & not Tefal?? -- though Tefal nampak lagi besar compartment dia, and ada 'pengacau' (to make food evenly cooked -- so takyah terbalik2 kan during cooking), we are afraid that the 'pengacau' akan buat food eg ikan goreng hancur --> that is DH's concern. I never thought of that!! LOL..
5. and dari segi size too -- since our benchtop in the kitchen is limited, i prefer the compact size of Philips airfryer...

the difficult part maybe washing the basket/net -- but u can soak it b4 'scrub' it gently

first try -- re-frying leftovers McD fries -- airfried for 3-4 mins

airfried fish -- err fried for 5-7 mins

airfried -- ayamadu nugget and ayamas drummet --> still crispy and cooked thoroughly!!

airfried marinade chicken... no oil, but the 'shiny' look comes from the honey i guess... tasty!!
